Our family has created this blog to document our "adventure" to the Dominican Republic. Please feel free to check it whenever you want, and share the link with whomever might find the blog to be of encouragement. Thank you all for your loving support while we "step over into Macedonia". Our trip will be from November 17 to December 15, 2011. Areas we will visit: Santo Domingo (branch), Luperon, Santiago, Puerto Plata and Jarabacoa.

Where are you from?
I have to admit that this is my first blog to write. I figured it would be like a "online diary" for others to live vicariously through us on this trip. After writing it for several days I noticed that I was able to see some stats about my blog in my settings. I can see that as of right now my blog has been hit 408 times. That isn't anything that surprised me, but it did surprise me that out of those 408 hits, that I had readers from Germany, Russia, Dominican Republic, United States and El Salvador. Since I only know some of you from the US, and none of you from the other countries, please write me a comment and let me know about you and what attracted you to my blog. Also, if any of the readers have questions that they want me to answer, or find the answer to, please post me a comment and I will do my best to answer it. We really like to hear from the ones reading this, as it keeps me inspired to continue blogging.

To give you an idea why you may be seeing people from all around the world, blogspot is a network. What that means is, people can go to the top of this page and hit "Next Blog" it will then load a random blog that was created after this one. So people get more exposure out of their blog by being in this network and having random people drop in.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying that's exactly what happened, but there's a good chance that's the factor.
